Inspired by Valentine’s Day this week, Julie shares a channeled reading from the Akashic Records on the subject of love, and some thoughts and ideas of her own.
Tarot cards and intuitive healing…
Virginia Mason, Reiki Master, psychic healer, and founder of Fleeting Connections (a wellness company offering private services, events, and content designed to connect you more deeply with these experiences in your own life, shake you from the stories that hold you back and open you to your most fulfilling, magical life – (profile)) joins Julie Chan for a conversation about intuitive healing, tarot cards, and the intersection with science. Plus Mason gives Chan a tarot card reading that reveals some big news. Recorded at the MouthMedia Network Studios, powered by Sennheiser.
Discovering tarot, Buddhism, and anthropology
Mason laments the issue with the word psychic, describes her background in science and physical anthropology, how she was strict Atheist, and went from non-profit to real estate, realized her life outside of these things in alternative wellness modalities, and found she had so many dreams that came true. How she was struggling with diseases, and all of symptoms went away. What was a primary driver to her exploring, when she was introduced to “When Things Fall Apart”, and she finally identified with Buddhism and got into meditation, Shambala. Crossing into the healing, how more and more evidence built, and creating space for whatever wants to come in to come in. Interest in anthropological factors from culture to anatomy, what’s fueling all of it, how she spent a lot of time in philosophy classes in college. Looking at people, pulling from different perspectives to figure them out, and another lens. The tarot as a form of divination using cards, tied to a game in the 1400’s.
The ripple effect of finding a confident voice…
Eduardo Placer, Social Impact Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Community Builder, and Founder/CEO of Fearless Communicators (a dynamic public speaking coaching business that empowers leaders and change-makers) – (bio), joins Julie Chan for a discussion of finding one’s voice, and a follow up to a prior full intuitive reading, at the MouthMedia Network Studio at Voyager HQ.
A voice and a story, when the body shows up, and the introverted extrovert
Placer reviews how he started as an actor, and how he realized we all have a voice and a story to share, and how owning a voice and story can allow us to make impact. How he found himself on stage, wondering if is this all he was called to do in life, with the answer growing louder. He discusses public speaking, how the body shows up to the event of speaking, working with a school in southern Kenya, an LGBTQ activist organization in southeastern Africa, working with women in business to help the with their voice, and endeavoring to arm fearless communicators across the planet to speak about things that can make a difference. Placer reveals how he is an introverted extrovert, the opportunity to discover the power of you through sharing through those with less self-confidence having an empathy different than someone who is a natural.
Moving past self-imposed obstacles…
Kyle Barrios, a market development strategy and operations growth professional (bio), married with two boys and from Farmingdale, NY, joins Julie Chan for a mini reading, interpretation and coaching.
Getting to know Kyle
Barrios talks about how taking action led to a beautiful family, and his desire to pursue the social entrepreneurship space. Chan shares her process for readings, including her clairaudience (clear hearing), meditation, then thought impressions, leading to a mini-reading as a catalyst to spark discussion of what is going on one’s life, and what is highest guidance for Barrios at this time.
